Download lloyds baia8/24/2023 ![]() even more rude at the restaurant….don’t they need tourism here to survive? They sure don’t act like they do.Stay in control of your business accounts on the move. I flooded the bathroom twice All in all…they can keep this place I would never return or recommend. We accidentally locked our key in the room and were told they only have 1 key per room and need to have security escort us up to open it…mind you nobody even asked who we were…LOL! The shower still confuses me… heck out my picture. Our travel companions were charged for 2 bottles of wine they didn’t even drink and they just threw their hands up and said their was nothing they could do about it but couldn’t produce a receipt showing they signed for it. From the time we checked in until the time we left, the front desk staff couldn’t care less, were very unhelpful, did not speak English and didn’t even try to help us with anything AND spoke about us to each other as we were standing there. I thought that this only occurred the first evening we stayed there because there was a wedding…we didn’t realize this happens every night! Same as another reviewer said…someone screaming in a microphone. I can confirm with the other reviews that this hotel is extremely loud. We just returned from a 12 day trip to Italy which included a two night stay at this hotel. The hotel and staff really have to buck their ideas up and improve their service. The only reason I didn’t give 1* for this hotel is that the bed was very comfortable, the location was convenient and there was a carpark. Before I used the shower I had to wedge the shower screen into position as the first time I used it, I assumed it would work, as this is supposedly a 4* Hotel right? Silly me! No! The first time the whole bathroom flooded with almost a cm of water. When you take the remote control to the staff they return it still broken to confirm that the TV is ONLY for decoration and not to be used. The room had a large curved TV, but this is obviously for decoration only as the remote control didn’t work so you can’t turn it on. The hotel is noisy as it seems to be popular for weddings & christenings etc which go on till early hours. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. ![]() (I speak Italian so it’s not a language issue). The staff are quite unhelpful unfortunately. The location of the hotel is convenient for Salerno and the Amalfitana coastline. The hotel is next to the port which is busy and not ideal if you don't sleep well. Maintenance hadn't repaired it during our stay. Had several occasions to return tea due to fishy smell and taste. No access to the beach safely and none for me due to the above. Power cables strewn across the ground nails sticking up and a peice of wood laid across the blade. An open construction site which has been the same since 2017 is a UK health and safety nightmare. But a great gym but a little snug and if you ate tall you don't have much head room next to the window on the equipment. Breakfast was good but the hot food was cold. Most common areas were beautiful but in the restaurant lots of stains and damage on the ceiling. No extractor fan The upper rooms were beautiful. Missing fittings dirty/ stained lamp shades and some lights didn't work. The rooms on the 4th floor are old and in desperate need of attention. The shower head had a mind of its own as did the control. Rust fell each time you showered into the tray. The seat was rusted and stuck at an angle so you couldn't sit and it forced you out of the shower tray. When you opened the window you were faced with a pitch black space with what I think was a water tank. The second across the corridor was accessible. We were allocated two rooms the first 432 which wasn't accessible. On the face of it the hotel is beautiful. If you are alone and in a wheelchair you cannot reach the buzzer and the ramp is not always down and he door is locked However once in, the lifts take you everywhere you need to go. There is a wooden ramp that takes you through a side door but you cannot get to the reception desk. As a disabled guest (wheelchair user) the hotel isn't accessible to reception.
